Sharpening Actions

This C1ick Sharpening set includes 37 actions, including Blog Sharpen, which is used by thousands of photographers all over the globe.  There are actions for the web, print, and for some of the most popular print sizes.  These will soon be offered on a dedicated website, but for right now, I am offering them here at a HUGE discount ($29 instead of $49) until the new site launches.  For those of you familiar with the actions, almost every single action has been adjusted to be even more powerful and implements some more sophisticated methods.  These are compatible with Photoshop CS2 and newer.

For those of you who place your own print orders, I have created some actions for some of the most common sizes, all you have to do, it crop the image to the corresponding ratio and run the action; it will resize it, and sharpen it for you based on the output size.  Also, there is a Black and White version of each as well, that will also convert it to a classic black and white in the process.  These can definitely help you save time AND create a better file for your lab to print from, giving your clients and even better looking image.

Below is an example of one of my sharpening actions that I get about a dozen emails a week about.  Blog Sharpen has been very popular and has very similar qualities to another very popular sharpening method, however, for the last year and a half, I have been using Simply Sharpen, which is a different and more powerful sharpening method for the web.  It actually pulls more detail out of the image and sharpens it more, but it has less artifacts…it looks Simply Sharpened.  I believe this is the most natural and pleasing-to-the-eye method for sharpening images for the web!
